1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CanadaBidIntel ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CanadaBidIntel provides procurement intelligence based on publicly available Canadian government contract data. The Service includes:

  • Searchable database of government contract awards
  • Company and department profiles
  • Tender matching and alerts
  • Competitor intelligence reports
  • Email digests (with your consent)

3. Data Sources and Accuracy

Public Data

Our data is sourced from the Government of Canada under the Open Government Licence - Canada. We aggregate and present this public data but do not create or control the underlying information.

Data Limitations

Please note the following limitations:

  • Winners Only: We show winning suppliers, not all bidders on a contract
  • Incomplete Bid Counts: Bid counts are marked "Unknown" when not published in source data
  • Canadian Companies: Company nationality is approximated from address information
  • Likely Competitors: Competitor intelligence is inferred from co-occurrence in similar categories and departments — these are analytical insights, not definitive relationships

No Warranty

While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of the data. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

4. AI-Generated Content

Our Service may include AI-generated summaries and insights. These are:

  • Clearly labeled as "AI-generated"
  • Based on public procurement data
  • Intended for informational purposes only
  • Not a substitute for professional advice

You should verify any AI-generated information before making business decisions.
